Mountains (Implied)
Florida has no mountains but sometimes you can see them.
Fun Yet?
Always the question.
Bluto’s
We were one of the very first people to ride this ride when Islands of Adventure first opened. Haven’t been on it since, you get really wet. With the temperatures in the 90’s and heat index above 100 it might be time to revisit it.
The Common Sense Photographer
I’m trying to restart my The Common Sense Photographer blog. There is a bunch of old stuff there and I hope to have new content in the next week or so.
New Hibiscus
Spoke too soon. Mrs Noded brought in a new hibiscus plant in a pot. The pot and plant are now in the back patio blooming. Life goes on.
Over the Ocean Under the Sea
Hibiscus
Landscaper trimmed about 5 feet off of our hibiscus bush today so it’s going to be some time before we get any new flowers.
Half Moon
The dust storm from Africa seems to have cleared the other night so the moon was clear and sharp. The previous couple of nights were not as clear although there were no clouds. Anyone who thinks the best time to photograph the moon is when it’s full needs to look at images like this where the shadows on the craters give it such nice definition. I’m particularly fond of the crater on the edged of night that has such a bright wall.
