A group of pelicans is called a pod. Actually, there are many other names for pelican groupings — a pouch, a scoop, a squadron or if they are fishing as a group, a fleet.
Roseate Spoonbill

There is a number of Roseate Spoonbill’s in the area according to things I’ve heard. We only ever get one at a time, and not everyday. The visits are always welcome.
Fluffed Up

It took 10 seconds for the Snowy Egret to go from it’s sleek svelte shape to this puffed up fuzziness and back to normal. He has quite the control over his feathers. I think it is how he stretches. It just looks so neat.
