Probably one of the prettiest palms. Love the green colors. These are rather tall examples across the street from me.
Malimwengu Guest House in Color
Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World owes a lot to Joe Rohde who this past week retired from a long creative life as a designer and imagineer. When he announced that he was retiring I had a moment of panic as he had such a hand in things Disney. I wasn’t sure that things could ever be as good without him as with him. Maimwengu Guest House is part of Harambe village, a thoroughly modern fictional place in Africa.
Still there are a lot of very talented people still working for the Mouse and I’m sure there are some that will be able to step in to his shoes. Good luck on your retirement Joe although someone as talented will not sit and watch the sunset.
Low Clouds
Low clouds from late December. This was taken with a telephoto lens as that was the lens I was using to shoot something else. Photographs are emotional or should I say contain the emotion of the photographer when the shot was taken.
Wind Sculpted
Had some success this year. I was able to move my websites onto a new host which allowed me to keep better control of things. I liked grabbing the noded.us domain. After the fact it was a good decision. All the Noded domains now point there which makes me happy. I am happy with moving to Bluehost for web hosting. They have been solid all year. I’m also pretty happy with my path to Capture One Pro really works well with my Fujifilm equipment.
